WORSHIP

What should I expect?

There’s nothing fancy about FBC. We sing, pray, take communion and offerings, baptize professing believers, and read and teach the Scriptures in a family-oriented, family-friendly worship service in which we seek to honor our risen King.

What should I wear?

Though traditional, we are not necessarily formal. You are welcome to wear what you like to FBC so long as it is in good taste with regard and reverence for King Jesus.

Which Bible should I bring?

While we regard all of the major translations (NASB, KJV, NKJV, NIV, LSB) as good and reliable, the Bible used most frequently at FBC is the ESV. If you have questions about other translations feel free to ask us.

Should I take Communion?

Communion is a sacrament given by the Lord for his believing community. We do ask that those who partake in communion, having been baptized, profess a sound understanding of the gospel in which they believe. If you or a child in your family would like to be baptized we’d love to talk to you about it.
