vision & values

First Baptist Church of Ripon is a Christ Centered, Biblically Based, Church Community, Living in the Hope of the Gospel. All we do at FBC is guided by the following 4 values.

gospel . keeping Jesus at the center of our lives [Philippians 3:7-11]
word . giving the Bible authority over our lives [2 Timothy 3:16]
community . loving others through our lives [Matthew 22:36-40]
future . having hope for the rest of our lives [Colossians 3:1-4]

DOCTRINe & bylaws

We accept the Bible as the inspired Word of God and the only sufficient, certain and authoritative basis for all our beliefs.  We are happy to fellowship with those who hold theological views that fall within the framework of orthodoxy.  Our teaching and leadership subscribe to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith [view here]. Covenant MEMBERSHIP & discipleship

At FBC we take membership seriously. Covenant members strive to uphold their obligations to the local church while the Elders of FBC also strive to serve its covenant members through biblical shepherding and teaching of God’s Word. To view our Church Covenant [click here].

Discipleship is the heart of the mission of the Christian church (Mt 28).  At FBC we facilitate this process by asking our covenant members to participate in the community of FBC as we grow together in the knowledge and practice of our faith, both corporately and privately.

FBC is committed to the work of missions, both globally and locally. To see our Missions Page [click here]
